How does the pressure control system of the fuel cell compressor work?
2026-05-14IP Location 江苏

The pressure control system of the fuel cell compressor mainly consists of pressure sensors, controllers, drivers, and actuators. The pressure sensor is installed in the compression joint or hydraulic (pneumatic) system to monitor the pressure value in real time and convert it into an electrical signal to transmit to the controller. Controllers usually use PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) or specialized industrial computers, which receive signals from pressure sensors and compare them with preset pressure values. If there is a deviation between the actual pressure and the set pressure, the controller calculates the control signal that needs to be adjusted based on the magnitude of the deviation and the control algorithm. The control signal is transmitted to the driver, and the driver drives the actuator to work according to the signal. For hydraulic presses, the driver may be the motor controller of the hydraulic pump, which adjusts the motor speed to change the output flow rate and pressure of the hydraulic pump; For pneumatic compressors, the driver controls the opening of the air source valve to regulate the air pressure. The actuator includes hydraulic cylinders (pneumatic cylinders), etc., which change their stroke or force under the action of the driver, thereby adjusting the compression pressure to make the actual pressure approach and stabilize at the set pressure value. At the same time, the pressure control system also has data storage and analysis functions, which can record pressure change curves and other data for subsequent quality traceability and process optimization.
